Photographer's favourite: ceremony locations

I asked some of my favourite photographers what their favourite wedding ceremony locations were around Queensland and they were kind enough to send back these photos! If you like their work, you can see more of it by clicking their names!

Brady & Gabs, The Powerhouse, Brissy, you can’t beat a ceremony in front of a white washed brick wall with greenery. industrial elegance.

I am a fan of churches. Dramatic shadows and soft highlights make for some pretty emotive images.

This ceremony location is set on the beach at the Gold Coast, QLD, moments after a storm has passed. This only added to the relaxed, calm and intimate feeling of such a beautiful location!

I always love shooting up at Spicers Peak Lodge in Cunningham’s Gap. It’s high on a plateau, surrounded by cows, kangaroos, rabbits and sometimes clouds at ground level. The four weddings I have captured at Spicers Peak Lodge have been so relaxed, the location has a real calming influence. The view isn’t too bad either.

Shiona and Daniel had their whole wedding in the Gold Coast Hinterland near Cedar Lake. This was just after the ceremony where everyone was walking up the hill from the little rotunda where it was held. I was photographing the couple and I turned around and saw this, absolutely magical.
