When you'r planning a wedding it's almost impossible to consider that there'll be a time after your wedding when you can just be married.
But that time will come and there are two links I want you to put in your post-wedding to-do list:
Changing your name probably makes sense (for those who celebrate, of course) but I want to lean into the reviews for a little bit.
I was in Rome earlier this year and there were two kinds of restaurants. Restaurants with so many empty tables and restaurants with lines around the block.
Because I'm impatient when hungry I ate at lots of "unpopular" restaurants and honestly, they were great. No worse, and probably sometimes better, than the ones that were big online.
The difference were the reviews online.
When you review wedding vendors and venues you're not just telling them that you think they're lovely.
You're training algorithms and large language models that people like you like - or dislike - vendors like this.
You're shaping the future of other people's weddings as they start their wedding planning search and they wonder who is who in the zoo.
Make the world a better place and leave a review. Mention what made that vendor different, unique, excellent. Mention locations, towns, regions, venues. Mention how you felt.
And if I was your celebrant ...
